At the 2017 edition of the festival I had the opportunity to spend three days working with the Sony A7s II. It has some flaws but it is still a great device.
It resulted in this short film, that in my eyes does a great job capuring the vibe of this very nice event.
It was also a pleasure to work with the music of Hermelin.
Nice guys from Hannover who play this weird techy but still moody and dreamy instrumental music.
How far away from an Autobahn can you get in Germany? About as far as Räbel. This is where I went with the band Neon Burton for their performance at “Rock in Räbel”.
Here are a few impressions of this very relaxed weekend.
Is this a ghost town or a blog?
Well there is certainly a lot going on behind the scenes that will come into existence soon!
Until then I’ll share theses post production before-after slides, which I really enjoyed.
I really don’t know too much about this place.
These little houses can be found in some sort of a public meeting point, that is also a garden and home for a few people, located in Hamburg Wilhelmsburg.
And they are all over the place. While other activities seem to take place there too, the little painted houses (made out of calcium silicate bricks) must be the main attraction.
I predict they are some sort of alternative guest book. Unfortunately I didn’t meet no one in charge, to answer all my questions.
